Dividend Income - August 2016

This month's dividend income came in at $359.58, a 24.7% increase over 2015's $288.26.

The 6-month moving average has really plateaued since January's peak. Although this is mostly due to the clearing of my TFSA and recontributing less at a later time in the US market, both HSE eliminating their dividend and LIQ decreasing theirs in April didn't help.

Dividend changes this month:
  • ATD.B raised the quarterly dividend 14.8% from $0.0675/share to $0.0775/share, increasing our passive income by $2.80.
  • BMO raised the quarterly dividend 2.4% from $0.84/share to $0.86/share, increasing our passive income by $1.60. This is the second time in a year for a total increase of 4.9%.
  • EMA raised the quarterly dividend 10% from $0.475/share to $0.5225/share, increasing our passive income by $32.47. This is the second time in a year for a total increase of 30.6%!!!
  • LB raised the quarterly dividend 3.4% from $0.58/share to $0.60/share, increasing our passive income by $0.09. This is the second time in a year for a total increase of 7.1%.
